Matthieu DESBOIS-RENAUDIN
PRESIDENT, CO-FOUNDER
With over 25 years of experience in innovation, product development, and project management within major organizations – including IFSTTAR for VALEO, BOSCH, and CEA – Matthieu has consistently focused on energy solutions for mobile vehicles. Driven by a deep commitment to sustainable mobility, he spent 9 years at CEA developing advanced lithium battery systems, and conducted his first project on immersion cooling for a large marine battery pack in 2013, before the technology began attracting interest from battery manufacturers. Today, his ambition is to lead a meaningful industrial venture that fosters innovation, supports energy transition, and creates skilled jobs in France.
Manuel RONCO
GENERAL MANAGER, CO-FOUNDER
Manuel brings 30 years of experience in production, aftersales, and business unit management for SMEs such as POLARIS, AIXAM-MEGA, and SPIT. His deep understanding of both customer and manufacturer needs is complemented by 18 years of specialized expertise in battery technologies for electric vehicles.
Jean-Noël CARMINATI
PRODUCT MANAGER, CO-FOUNDER
Jean-Noël brings over 20 years of experience in the design of mechanical and electrical systems, including 15 years dedicated specifically to lithium battery technology. He has worked with leading organizations such as TRW, VOLVO TRUCKS, IVECO BUS, and CEA. As a recognized expert in battery design and manufacturing, Jean-Noël plays a key role in advancing WATTALPS’ technological leadership.
